LOUDER IS NOT ALWAYS CLEARER a film on BBC iPlayer featuring LOIS DRAGE alongside Jonny Cotsen and filmed by On Par Productions has been nominated for Digital 2021 awards!
The film is an adaptation of Louder Is Not Always Clearer (a performance about Jonny's life) which successfully ran at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019.
It's a moving and funny story of disconnection, difference and desperation to belong; focusing on a man seemingly confident, outgoing and popular who is inwardly vulnerable and at times isolated.
Lois played Abbey in a flashback scene where Jonny is reminiscing about his past girlfriend. This was a great opportunity for Lois to practice signing and learn from someone who uses it daily and to learn and see things from Jonny's perspective.

BETWEEN THE HEADPHONES written, directed, edited and produced by MATHEW COLIN EVANS has been nominated for Postgraduate award!
The film has screened at multiple film festivals globally and features Welsh BAFTA nominee Hanna Jarman and Welsh BAFTA winning comedian Tudur Owen.
Kyle, a socially awkward, office worker, wears his headphones to help him get through each day, however, his over-reliance on them begins to effect his relationship with others.
